For the first time as T&T TOYAMA, we are pleased to release whisky purchased as new make spirit and matured for over three years in our own cask store.
This release, ‘EPISODE 0’, signifies T&T TOYAMA’s departure from ‘zero’ and embodies the “O” of ‘ORIGIN’, marking a fitting first step in sharing Japanese whisky culture with the world.
【Tasting Notes】
Nose: Rich honey and vanilla, luxurious caramelised sugar syrup. Steamed sweet potato, faint hints of boiled corn cob and plum paste.
Palate: Smooth and somewhat light-bodied. Honey, apple, vanilla with gentle notes of hard candy. Minimal off-flavours, with a gentle spiciness unfolding. Finish: Clean, with a pleasant woodiness accompanied by vanilla.
Overall: A bottle that straightforwardly expresses the clean, smooth character typical of Mitake.
