Today we are pleased to announce the arrival of “Single cask tsunuki 2021 Sherry Hogshead & Bourbon barrel” newly released from Honbo Brewery and Mars Tsunuki Distillery.
Released as “Tsunuki Distillery 2021 Limited Bottle”.This bottle was originally scheduled to be unveiled at the Tsunuki Distillery Festival 2021 scheduled to be held in November 2021. This is the fifth limited edition bottle. This is the first single cask using the original distilled in the second season of Tsunuki distillery’s operation (distilled in 2018).

Feature
Aged in sherry casks with medium peat （20ppm）
The sweetness of chocolate, butter, and raisins from the sherry casks, spicy and herbaceous astringency, and a good amount of smokiness make it addictive. It can be enjoyed with a little water or soda.

Feature
Lingering oak aroma and sweetness characteristic of bourbon barrels
Complex flavor from bourbon barrel aging. It has a slight sweetness of vanilla and cream with a slight melon-like fruity note. The oakiness of the bourbon barrels also comes through honestly, giving the impression of a strong lingering finish.
