Today we are pleased to announce the arrival of “Single Malt Kanosuke 2021 FIRST EDITION,” a new limited release from the Kanosuke Distillery of Komasa Brewery.

Dark amber color like a sunset

In order to realize the concept of Kanosuke Distillery, “MELLOW LAND, MELLOW WHISKY,” the original three pot stills (copper distillers) were used to make the original whisky, which was then aged for three years in a variety of oak barrels before being married.
Non-peat malt is used, and the key is the sake aged in American white oak rich casks used for the barrel-aged rice shochu “Mellow Kozuru,” vatted in multiple casks and bottled at cask strength. 2017-18 Kanosuke Distillery’s first distilled and aged at the Kanosuke Distillery. This is a single malt Japanese whisky.

What is so remarkable that it is hard to believe that it has been aged for 3 years is its color. It has a dark amber color like a sunset. The taste also starts with fresh and slightly sour fruit, and later you can also taste richness and a good sweetness. It has a complex and deep flavor with a long finish. It is a whisky to drink on the rocks and enjoy the changes in flavor over time.
