Today, we are pleased to announce the arrival of ” Akkeshi Blended Whisky Sho Sho”, a new limited release from Kenten Jitsugyo and Akkeshi Distillery.
Akkeshi Blended Whisky Shosho , the fourth in the Akkeshi Whisky “24 Season Series,” is limited to 10,000 bottles.
This will be the first release in three months since the last single malt Japanese whisky glauber was released.
The first single malt whisky “Shosho” will be released on October 28, 2020.
Second release: Blended whisky Usui, to be released on February 28, 2021
Third Single Malt Japanese Whisky Bousyu release: May 28, 2021
The fourth product, a blended whisky “Shosho”, will be released on August 25, 2021.
Shosho” is the 14th of the 24 seasons. It is the fourteenth of the 24 seasons, and is written “Shosho,” which means “the heat stops. The word ” Shosho” means “to cease.” The heat eases and cool breezes begin to blow in the mornings and evenings. It is a time of harvest for grains and other crops, but it is also the arrival of the typhoon season.
The peculiar peatiness and sweetness of Akkeshi malt, which accounts for the majority of the malt.
The peatiness and sweetness peculiar to Akkeshi Malt have been brushed up with each release, and the current release has a complexity that one would not expect from a blended malt, with an even deeper sense of maturity and a mild peat aroma. The sweetness that lurks within the peat is still present in this release. This blended whisky has a complex and refined taste, and you can enjoy the peatiness that can be called the Akkeshi brand, which has both “peat” and “sweetness”.
