Today we are pleased to announce the arrival of “Akashi Double Blenders Malt Harmony,” a new limited release from Eigashima Distillery.
The malt distilled at the Nagahama distillery and the malt distilled at the Eigashima distillery are exchanged with each other.Both blenders met together at the Eigashima distillery and completed the blend recipe after repeated tastings of multiple samples of the original malt liquor, including some from overseas.This whisky is a counterpart to INAZUMA Extra Selected Edition No. 2 released by Nagahama Distillery.
Aged 4 years in bourbon and Pedro Ximenez barrels, respectively
Non-peated malt distilled at Nagahama distillery and light peated malt distilled at Eigashima distillery, stored for 4 years in bourbon casks, and Pedro Ximenez casks, plus 4 and 5 year old malt distilled overseas, are blended.
The label depicts the world’s longest suspension bridge (Akashi Kaikyo Bridge), which symbolizes Akashi.
